At Northeastern Seminary, you will deepen your understanding of Scripture and connect it with your God-given passion to serve your community. You receive an accredited theological education that is built on the solid foundation of the Gospel and tailored to support your unique calling to Christian ministry. Courses incorporate a deep sensitivity to spiritual direction, which equips you to bring understanding and new vision to your path in Christian ministry and leadership.

Through a flexible curriculum, you can earn a seminary degree through fully online coursework without any need to come to campus. If preferred, some classes are offered in person at our campus located at Roberts Wesleyan University in Rochester, New York.

Masters & Certificate Admissions

Applying to a Northeastern Seminary’s Masters or certificate degree program is an opportunity to further your ministry and deepen your understanding of theology. All of our Christian programs feature a stackable curriculum that breaks down your degree into manageable certificates, the option to attend seminary online, and a thoughtful focus on spiritual formation. 

Northeastern Seminary offers graduate-level programs that can be completed fully online without coming to campus. 

Doctor of Ministry Admissions

Northeastern Seminary’s fully online Doctor of Ministry (D.Min) program is designed for experienced church leaders interested in further study beyond a Master of Divinity or other master’s degree. A Doctor of Ministry degree is the highest professional degree for people seeking to enhance their career in Christian ministry with deep spiritual reflection and academic research opportunities.

Stackable Curriculum

Develop the skills and training you need with the flexibility of selecting the courses that best fit your calling with Northeastern Seminary's stackable curriculum. Choose the courses that fit your ministry, online or onsite in Rochester, NY, to earn a graduate certificate within one year. Continue adding courses to earn a Master of Arts degree after two years, or a Master of Divinity after the third year.*

Design a customized course of study or choose a prepared competency to earn a Certificate in Scripture, Theology, and Ministry after your first year of study.

Continue your education with another stackable block of courses to receive a Master of Arts degree in Ministry PracticeTheological StudiesTheology & Social JusticeSpiritual Formation, or Transformational Leadership.

Assemble multiple, stackable competency blocks to earn your Master of Divinity with a concentration in Advanced Biblical Studies, Spiritual Formation, Social Justice, Leadership, or another area of your choice.

But less than 15% of students pay this amount
