Olivia Lopez graduated from St. John Fisher College with a bachelor's degree in Journalism in 2016 and began working in local news. She began working for Rochester's local newspaper the Democrat and Chronicle as a photographer before beginning to transition to work as a digital producer for News 8 WROC.

In August of 2021, she made a career and life change and became both a student and a staff member of Northeastern Seminary. Olivia is pursuing a master of arts in the theology and social justice program. She handles communication, website, social media, and more for Northeastern Seminary.
