Jesús Rodríguez-Cortés

Instructional Mentor and Project Lead

Jesús Rodríguez-Cortés is a bilingual (Spanish–English) theological educator, instructional designer, and project leader. For more than 30 years, he has worked at the intersection of theological education, digital learning, and network and technology operations.

He is currently completing an Ed.D. in Instructional Technology and Distance Education. He holds a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Religion from the Evangelical Seminary of Puerto Rico, an MBA in Technology Management, and a B.A. in Electronics Engineering Technology – Telecommunications.

Jesús has served as Information Systems Director and adjunct faculty at the Evangelical Seminary of Puerto Rico, teaching Technology and Ministry and helping institutions strengthen their online and hybrid learning ecosystems. He designs LMS-based environments, multimedia-rich courses, and resources for churches, seminaries, and non-profit organizations, often in collaboration with Lilly Endowment–funded initiatives and ministry networks.

Across all these spaces, he is committed to building formation ecosystems that are pedagogically sound, technologically robust, and deeply rooted in the lived realities of diverse communities.
