Louis E. Colón is a 70‑year‑old Puerto Rican, born in New York and currently living in Rochester, NY. He is joyfully married to Laura, and together they have four adult children and about ten grandchildren, whom he describes as his greatest joy.

He serves as a Free Methodist pastor and is currently an associate pastor at Edgewood Church in Pittsford, NY.

Louis also ministers through teaching, serving as adjunct faculty at Northeastern Seminary and Roberts Wesleyan University. His favorite courses to teach are Introduction to the Old Testament and Introduction to the New Testament. He has also taught Leadership in Ministry and Preaching.

His academic background includes a BA in English with a minor in Literature, an MA in Bilingual/Bicultural Education, an MA in Theological Arts, and a Doctor of Ministry with a concentration in Preaching.
Louis is passionate about preaching God’s Word and training new leaders to read and proclaim the gospel with depth and faithfulness to the richness of the Sacred Scriptures.
