The Sound of the Genuine Biblical Institute (SGBI) is a Christian education ministry of Elim Christian Fellowship leading to a Certificate in Christian Education Ministry. Its program is designed for students who are highly motivated and feel a strong call on their lives to leadership in the ministry. Studies cover a broad range of disciplines to give students a well-rounded and rewarding educational experience.

The purpose of The Sound of the Genuine Biblical Institute is to equip students with the necessary tools and knowledge to effectively and faithfully communicate the word of God to the world with integrity, boldness and confidence, and to become servant-leaders. Courses, therefore, will not only be intellectual, but will also encourage spiritual and moral growth, and will aid in students' personal development such that there will be a congruency between their proclamation and their existential reality. Furthermore, it is our goal to stimulate a desire within our students to engage in continuing education, formal or informal, long past their attendance in The Sound of the Genuine Biblical Institute.

To earn the Certificate in Christian Education Ministry a student must successfully complete a three year course of study involving eighteen courses. All coursework and instruction is done with the approval and review of Northeastern Seminary at Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, New York. Students successfully completing the SGBI Advanced Track may be considered for college credit at Roberts Wesleyan College.
