Northeastern Seminary Partners with New H.O.P.E Bible Institute
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Northeastern Seminary and New H.O.P.E Bible Institute collaborate to launch a two-year certificate in ministry program in New York’s Capital District, to provide training for ministry leaders in the counties of Albany, Schenectady, Rensselaer, and Saratoga. Recruiting for the program has already begun.
The program’s goal is to provide education, training, and development to enrich and empower students to participate at greater levels in Christian service. Students who successfully complete coursework that includes classes in Church History, Leadership Skills, Church Community, Pastoral & Spiritual Formation, and Pastoral Ethics will earn a Certificate in Ministry. The two-year program is comprised of three 12-week terms, during the fall, winter, and spring each year. All students complete 18 units (108 class hours) per year plus 3 units (288 hours) of documented ministry application per year. All coursework is done with the approval and review of Northeastern Seminary at Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, N. Y.
