Scholarships

The following scholarships are available to eligible students.

How do scholarships work at Northeastern?

New Students: If interested in applying for scholarships as a new incoming Master’s student, you must be accepted into a program and complete the FAFSA to determine eligibility. First year students, if determined need-eligible, will automatically be awarded a 10 percent scholarship. If your church or denomination is a seminary partner, you may come in under a different scholarship structure.

Returning Students: If interested in applying for scholarships as a returning Master’s student, you must complete the FAFSA and submit the scholarship questionnaire. The scholarship questionnaire will be available in March.  You will be matched to scholarships after submitting these items.

Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) Students: D.Min. students are offered generous scholarship opportunities of 20 or 40 percent off tuition.

Scholarships are available for both part-time and full-time students. Awards are based on a percentage off tuition rather than a single amount. The more classes you take, the more scholarship money you are awarded!
