Carrie Starr

Director of Seminary Advancement


Before working at Northeastern Seminary, Carrie served as the Eastern Regional Director of Campus Ambassadors Christian Fellowship and as the Hostelton Chair of Ethics and Free Enterprise at Roberts Wesleyan College.

Carrie is the author of three books, Cheap Love, Marriage Adventures, and Secret Shame. She has been married to her best friend from college, Erv, since 1993. They have three children and live in a 200-year-old barn.

Honors & Awards

Carrie was honored by Enactus United States as the Sam M. Walton Free Enterprise Fellow of the year in 2014 for her work as faculty adviser to the Roberts Enactus team. In 2016, she was inducted into the Enactus United States Hall of Fame for the advancement of the Roberts team and the Enactus organization in 2017.
