2018 McCown Symposium

PENTECOSTALISM
has been fueled over the last 100 years primarily by its missionary zeal.

Thousands of miles of ministerial and missionary travel by horseback became the model for the circuit rider of the 19th century and for the global METHODIST missionary of the 20th century.

Yet the challenge for MISSION among both groups, not to mention for the Christian church as a whole, are steep.

Methodicostal Flame
 Revisit the Pentecost narrative and
Pauline letters from a Wesleyan and Pentecostal perspective to reconsider how the charismatic work of the Spirit might yet catalyze a fresh Christian witness for the present time.

Conceive of a METHODICOSTAL witness.
