
Charles Meeks

Dr. Charles Meeks has served as adjunct professor of theology at Northeastern Seminary since 2016, teaching courses across the areas of theology and ministry. He currently resides in Hamilton, Ontario, where he serves as Coordinator for the Niagara School for Missional Leadership and is a candidate for ordination in the Anglican Diocese of Niagara. He formerly served within the Wesleyan Methodist Church of Australia.
Dr. Meeks earned a BA in religion from Houghton College in Houghton, New York, and an MA in biblical studies from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky. He completed his PhD in theology at Wycliffe College/University of St. Michael’s College in the University of Toronto.
His teaching and research interests are broad, but highlight the intersection of historical theology and sacramentology. He has also published on patristic interpretations of Scripture and is currently pursuing research on spirituality and mental health.
