Keynote Speakers
Dr. Beth Gerhardt, MSW, Th.D. is Professor of Theology and Social Ethics and Chair of the Women’s Committee at Northeastern Seminary. Dr. Gerhardt has 16 years of experience in the domestic violence field. She also founded Grace For Justice, a ministry dedicated to educating pastors and lay church leaders in the area of counseling abused women. Dr. Gerhardt teaches the Violence Against Women courses both at Northeastern Seminary and Roberts Wesleyan College.
Rev. Lisette Maginn, M.Div. a Northeastern Seminary alumna ('06), is pastor of Dewey Avenue Presbyterian Church (PCUSA) in Rochester. She also serves as a part time chaplain at Strong Memorial Hospital, where she completed a chaplaincy residency. She serves as a member of the Women’s Committee of Northeastern Seminary. Rev. Maginn is committed to the truth of the equality of all humanity in Christ, and the priesthood of all believers.
Rev. Betty P. Williams is associate pastor at the Elim Christian Fellowship in Buffalo, New York. She is the founder of New Wine Covenant Ministries, a consultant ministry which specializes in leadership development seminars that promote excellence in ministry and culminate in church growth.
